Who this program supports

Still a Parent Circle is for parents in Fargo and across North Dakota who are living with separation from a child who has been removed from their care.

Whatever your circumstances, you are still a parent—and you deserve a place to be heard without judgment.

What people are facing

Separation from a child can bring grief that is hard to name and even harder to share. Many parents carry shame, uncertainty, or a painful sense of losing who they are.

Those feelings are often carried alone, in silence, or in places where people feel judged rather than heard.

What the program provides

The circle offers:

  • A respectful place to be heard by others who understand, without judgment.
  • Healthier ways of carrying grief, so it does not have to be carried alone.
  • Reconnection with yourself—your strengths, your identity, and your worth.
  • Hope, offered with honesty and compassion.

Still a Parent Circle is peer support. The circle does not provide legal advice.
