Arise Above Foundation (“we,” “us”) is a community organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you share with us
When you use one of our forms (seek support, refer someone, volunteer, partnership, support the foundation, contact, or updates sign-up), we collect the details you choose to provide, such as:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, city, or organization, if you choose to add them
- The options you select and the message you write
If a professional or community partner refers you to us, we receive the contact details and information they share, which they confirm you have agreed to. We use it only to reach out to you.
To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we also record the time of your submission, your browser type, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address. We cannot read your actual internet address from this value.
How we use your information
- To read and respond to your message or referral
- To connect you with the appropriate Arise Above program, or with another community resource when you ask us to
- To coordinate volunteering, partnerships, or support you have offered
- To send foundation updates, only if you asked to receive them
When you submit a form, we send you a short email confirming we received it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
Sensitive information
Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. You do not need to include personal details about your health, legal situation, or family to reach out. We can talk further once we are in touch. Our forms are not monitored around the clock and are not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988.
How we store and protect it
Submissions are stored in a secure database with our website host and delivered to our organization’s email inbox. They can be viewed only by authorized Arise Above Foundation staff. Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
We keep submissions only as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and we remove them when they are no longer needed.
Cookies
Our public website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you have shared, or to stop sending you updates, at any time. Email info@
Children
Our website is intended for adults. Young people who want support are encouraged to reach out with a parent, guardian, school counselor, or another trusted adult.
